Sondra is a breast cancer survivor and co-founder of BS Breast Cancer with Mia Curtiss. BS Breast Cancer is a safe space to support and uplift others where everyone has a voice and their story matters. Sondra had immediate reconstruction after her mastectomy and then chose to “deconstruct” after seven years and is proudly “living flat.” She believes not all women need to have reconstruction to “feel whole” following mastectomy.

Blooming Cancer

Juliet was diagnosed with breast cancer in January 2016. Her tumor was 70mm, Grade 3. Mildly ER+, PR- and HER2+. She had a lumpectomy, mastectomy, chemotherapy and Herceptin. Her active treatment finished in April 2017 and she is now cancer free. She had a second mastectomy for symmetry in November 2017 and is living flat – without breasts.

This is a blog about breast cancer and flowers. Odd companions you may think, but the second grew out of the first!
