The MOLLI Marker is MR Conditional which means it is safe for a patient to undergo MRI with a MOLLI Marker inserted. The MOLLI Marker, however, cannot be placed under MRI.
It is recommended that the MOLLI Marker is placed as close to the surgery date as possible – after imaging and workup has been completed. This is illustrated below for a neoadjuvant workflow using MOLLI.
